Goldschmidt TIB GmbH, Germany, an internationally recognised leader with over 30 years experience and know-how in this field.
Macmet is the sole representative and exclusive approved applicator of TIB's
PROTEGOL range of polyurethane coatings in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and
Nepal. Macmet provides two premium grades of polyurethane coatings: PROTEGOL
– 32-55R (pure Polyurethane) and PROTEGOL – 32-10R (Tar modified
Polyurethane).
PROTEGOL is a solvent free, 100% solid, two component, internally
plasticised, high build, elastomeric thermosetting polyurethane compound,
carefully engineered to protect and preserve the integrity of structures
over their design life. Both these corrosion protection polyurethane
coatings conform to DIN Standard 30671 (June 1992) – thermosetting coating
for underground steel pipes external protection, DIN Standard 30677, Part II
(September 1988) – heavy duty thermosetting coating for external protection
of buried pipelines, valves, tanks, etc., ASTM Standards and KTW
recommendations for coatings in connect with potable water.
The PROTEGOL range of polyurethane coatings is the latest innovation amongst
the new generation corrosion protective coatings.
